Frith Hilton Ventures — Manuscript Intake

Send to Press

content.json in → workflow_dispatch out
no server, just your browser and the GitHub API

Load a manuscript

Start from an existing content.json instead of a blank form — paste any publicly reachable URL (a raw.githubusercontent.com link works well), or pull the live file from the repository you'll connect below.

Tip: append ?src=<url> to this page's own address to auto-load on open.

Book details

This becomes content.json in your repository, in the same shape your generator already reads.

Leave any of these blank to fall back to the generator's defaults. "Theme title" is the heading shown before the first poem.

One line per paragraph. Inline HTML like <em> or <strong> is kept intact, not stripped — this field was previously left blank and rendered as the literal word "undefined"; it's required here so that can't happen again.

A fresh UUID per book. Reusing one identifier across titles would make every book report the same dc:identifier — this keeps each publication unique.

Series & print-source metadata (optional)

Poems

Order here is the order they'll appear in the book. One line per line of the poem — blank lines become stanza breaks.

Author's note & bio

Prefilled with the generator's standing defaults below — edit or clear per book. One line per paragraph; inline HTML like <em>/<strong> is kept intact.

Also by & publisher

A category name on its own line, then one - item per line. Blank line starts a new category.

Legal & style

Both are opt-in — leave "use" unchecked and the typeface on Serif to reproduce the exact look of earlier books.

Repository

Calls go straight from this page to api.github.com — nothing is sent anywhere else.

Needs Contents: Read and write and Actions: Read and write on this repo (fine-grained), or repo + workflow scope (classic).
